I have 8 slots for ram on my motherboard. They are in pairs to take advantage of dual channel memory. Right now, I have 2 1GB sticks of ram, and I'd like to add 2 2GB sticks of ram for a total of 6GB. Is mixing the different sizes of ram going to cause...

Yes you can, but personally, I wouldn't.
You'll probably get better performance from the two 2gb sticks in there alone than adding in the other two 1gb sticks with the two 2gb sticks.

Assuming a Core i7 with a x58 chipset (IOW, triple-channel is supported)... I'm trying to decide if I need to buy triple channel memory kits. The MB has 6 slots, and I will populate them all. So I've got two options:
1) Buy 2 triple-channel kits (3x2g...

If I was you, just buy whatever it takes to get the amount the memory as individual sticks....
Such as 10 sticks, you could get three or four different designs - it was a nightmare as dual channel (back, you usually do get the same sticks.

I purchased two 8G USB sticks from eBay. Different models from two different sellers. I use them a few times and then the files copied to them are corrupted.
I don't know if these drives are of poor quality or what. What are some very good reliable long...

Is this correct?
Yes, the extra memory will be physically present, but not... .
The rest would just be unsused.
Is there any problems with having 8 GB ram in a 32 bit Windows Vista? As i understand it, i would simply only be able to utiluse ~3,2 GB of them .

Some of the files I copy to a USB stick seems to be corrupted? Maybe the stick is bad but I haven't used it much and want to know for sure.
Is there a Windows utility to test the stick? Mark bad areas as bad so the file system doesn't save to them? I ...

After running Win 7 for some unknown period of time, the taskbar icon highlight starts to stick (video demo here: http://screencast.com/t/l5LhJ2uM ). If I restart or kill explorer.exe and relaunch, it goes away.
Any idea what might be causing this?

It's a low-priority bug for them, so don't expect....
Microsoft hasn't released any sort of fix for it (as far as I'm aware) so you might just have to deal with it .
This has been a problem since pre-RC days of Windows 7; I've experienced the same bug in RTM .

Just bought a ED64 and am awaiting it to arrive.
But I wonder if anyone have come up with a solution for worn out analog sticks.
I've got a couple of replacement sticks. But they wouldn't last forever.
Anyone who have made some metal sticks, that is not...

Of playing the games accurately; and that's what the N64 stick was all about; these new sticks they make, but they will still keep their precision unlike the original N64 sticks.
