Posted Yesterday, 11:18 AM I've been playing stiff since I started golfing which was about 7 years and counting now. Recently hitting the ball like an idiot and nothing seems to fit my eye when it came to ball flight. Accuracy was just chaotic and was...

If your ball flight is too low, simply go up in loft and retest out of the bag .
I think the way to go or have thought would be "plenty stiff".

This is a trivial problem, but I'm just starting with matlab, and haven't got used to their way of thinking yet (and syntax). What I'm asking will be obvious to anyone who's ever done anything with FEM or the like. How do you put together a big stiffness...

Desperately so.
Do this: C = zeros(6); C(1:4,1:4) = A; C(3:6,3:6) = C(3:6,3:6) + B; Stiffness matrices WANT to be sparse.
I think your question is this: A = 4x4 B = 4x4 C = final matrix where A and B overlap and should be summed in overlap .

Hi all, I'm looking for a good library that will integrate stiff ODEs in Python. The issue is, scipy's odeint gives me good solutions sometimes , but the slightest change in the initial conditions causes it to fall down and give up. The same problem is...

From what I have heard and read, for stiff problems the right way to go is to choose an implicit it's best to use some well-tested code.
When I move my gearshift left/right in neutral it feels stiff. The mk2 has upgraded linkages/shafts and there is no play. The car drives fine and selects all the gears although sometimes going from 5th to 4th can be hard to engage but I put that down ...

Check the red bush where the main shifter rod comes thru into the bay, if this is new it may need to bed in a bit but give it some grease and that should help .
Ping TFC 169d x-stiff versus the 707d x-stiff hello fellow hackers. New member with a question-- I am looking at the Ping i20. My club shop didn't have one to demo so i went to Golf Galaxy. I love the club, however, the only x-stiff shaft he had was the...

Butt stiff feel and are very stable espescially in the X.The 169 tour had a little more flexibility in the tip in the G20 I tried. The 707d was too stiff for me in X(104-106 ss)but felt better in stiff and with the i20 head had lower....
Let's say I want to build a (relatively speaking) "fast" action or stiff 4wt rod and I decided to hollow build it. If it is built hollow, would the stiffness be reduced due to the hollowing or would it still end up as a "stiff" or "fast" 4wt?
