Are solar storms real? Are the solar storms so powerful at the moment that they can leave entire countries without electrical power? And if 'yes', what do we do?

They happen all the time on the Sun, and there are more of them during of an ice storm or hurricane, and only on the power lines and satellites, not anything else (like.

Can storms in an AI SOL White setup be configured to occur randomly, or am I limited to the same DOW all the time (or course without weekly changing the programming)? If just the DOW, can those be set to occur randomly? TIA

So the storm would be the same day every week unless you went in and change it each week.
And all I have seen is to be able to schedule a storm and a DOW basis.
But that looks to me the settings for when a storm occurs.

When I was little, I used to run out in to the storms and play until my mom yelled at me. Sit at my window and watch the lightning etc.
I've noticed in the last 5 years that thunderstorms...

Once I moved to Alberta and saw what a real storm was, I developed, snowstorms, I never did, that's just dumb.

My mother in law who is a nurse told me that during solar storms/eruptions/flares, people's depression increases significantly.
I've looked it up, and seems legit.
What do you guys think? When there's a solar storm, and a few days afterward, do you experience...

I was advised a while ago that it is wise to turn off and unplug electrical equipment during thunder storms (just getting one now which prompted this thread).
But do you? You might unplug the PC but what about you’re TV, fridge, radio alarms, microwaves...
