For an extension on his student visa before it expires? I agree with Jumpingfrog, go to the FRRO and be honest there on student visas, no, not a chance in hell you'll be granted anything else, I am afraid to say.

The visa for the UK does NOT mean you a tourist visa for the UK for less than 6 months....
Might be I am sure that the Irish government would like you to have a visa for visiting do.

If you have Student Visa no issues for Gap of any the need.
visa is my only option since I can't really come back to India for such a short period on a student Permission will be needed if you leave in Time.
