Does anybody has any experience with Sun training? I wonder if the extra $1000 is justified if I sign up for the classroom training vs. the web-based or cd-rom one? Any advantages / disadvantages for both trainings? -Goe

The Sun courses.
I train people to pass the SCJP (I'm SCJP 1.5 + SCBCD and preparing SCJP 1.6 + SCWCD) .
I've never taken any of the Sun training classes, but unless your company is willing to pay.
This helmet needed a bit of careful "restoring" and while not perfect looks better than when I bought it recently. The dome was crushed and I carefully tried to reblock it. But this is a fairly desireable helmet in any condition. The Model 1896 pattern...

Sun only make money from Java years and is very heavily invested in it's success.

Java,J2ME mobile SDK's from Sun is free and Open Source .As of now you need not pay anything In future if Oracle demands Sun not to release its upcoming software as Open source then you may need ....

From what I've heard, Sun is respecting Apple's rights to controlling the supported Java version....
A project without an immediate "cash in the door by the end of the quarter effect" won't be greenlighted .
