I use a Wacom Bamboo fun tablet. I would like to jot notes using the tablet's pen. What software do you recommend for this? Handwriting recognition would be a plus.

Just wanted to know what you artists utilize when using applications like photoshop etc.
I do not have a tablet/sketchbook. I am more comfortable using a mouse pad than a mouse.
Is it that much easier to draw with a tablet/sketchbook? If it is, I'll consider...

That's just me.
To constantly zoom in and out like I would when working digitally .

Which do you use? I'd never used an Apple anything until the iPhone but have now got an iMAC for some car stuff we do. I love it to be fair.
