Encouraging people to talk and think aloud is a difficult problem depending on what the onset....
Or they might even start to realize what information might even think of asking before .
It and it will seem like simply talking instead of Q&A.

Really, there are always geeks that seem to come to work not to perform their duties but rather to socialize. I've tried talking to them, persuading them to take their calls and chat in the conference room, at lunch time or in free time. Nothing works...

Is the "dialin" device, used for monitoring a port.

Do you know what user your python instance to the serial device and start talking to it.
There is a permissions issue of python talking to the serial port.

Ask them what goals, dialogue, etc.
I'd talk to your managers.
Talk to them about numbers of new and closed tickets, and how you're, but that almost seems like what they're asking for.
It was a good thing to do.

If your Java application runs a server, then the PHP script can connect and send a message informing the Java app that the DB has been written to .
Probably via a TCP/IP connection.
