I was wondering to complete the CPA NY requirement should I go for MS in accounting or Taxation from Baruch college cuny
Which will have more financial rewards in terms of more career options/ stability?
I have more liking for Taxation as subject...

Taxguy is right about more opportunities with MS in Taxation.
Ms in Taxation > MS in Accoutancy, if you have your bachelors in accounting.

What's your stance on taxation?
Do you believe that everyone, whether earning a billion p/a or 12,000 p/a should be charged at the same tax rate - or that in fact the ammount you earn should affect the tax rate. I:e 80,000+ = 40%, >50,000 = 35% etc...

Not trying to argue per say.
But you would be subject to cash taxation in 2012 - which would force you to sell.
But mark to market taxation, if I understand it right when you started.
That loophole needs to be closed.
