I thought I could figure this out but can't.
I'm trying to take vmnic2 and vmnic3 and create a vSwitch for just the VM's to use.
I can do this part just fine.
But I can't seem to team them together. I was told that I should create the teaming on the switch...

It needs to be "hard set" to a team.
Make sure you're not configuring your switch for LACP teaming.

I have read a few contradictory articles regarding support or at least configuration with teaming of Broadcom NIC's and Hyper-V. I have a pair of Dell R805's with 4 Broadcom 5708 NIC's in them. I have teamed them up (one team for public connections and...

I have two 24-port switches that in turn connect to 6 24-port switches. There's a device trying to FTP into a PC at each of the leaf ports (6 x 24 devices). All at once.
On the PC end, I am trying to make sure that the bandwidth is adequate for the job...

Ok, I have read about installing multiple nic's in a server and expanding the throughput capabilities through load balancing. I might be using this term incorrectly. Now, depending on the application, wether it be a sql server, web server, active directory...

Load Balancing is typically done by a "front-end" device.
With teaming is not so much load balancing, but teaming.
Have 2 NICs at 1Gb speed, you can team them together to get up to 2Gb of throughput.
