I've had the Tech 8's for years, had them re-soled 5 times already, ready for some new boots, was wondering if the Tech 10 boot was worth the extra $150 and if it was more costly to re-sole due to that modern design.

Hello Planted Tank fellas,
I want to know your personal take on what defines a low tech or a high tech or both. I would love to see some pictures accompanied by tank descriptions but not necessary.
One thing tho: Low budget doesn't really mean low tech...

Light and substrate....
Low tech = DIY Co2 or none.
IMO
high tech = pressurized Co2.
I have one tank that I consider low tech:
small tank, low light, inert substrate, 2 filters, easy, no water changes so far, but maybe every 3-4 months.

I like SO's podcast because it has some humor. Similarly youlooknicetoday.com is funny... and is just vaguely tech-related. So I'm look for podcasts that are humorous and at least vaguely tech-related.
