I'm currently passing some date-time info to a web page using url parameters, which are ticks of date times, and then converting the ticks back into date times when I need to at the other end.
Is there a better way to do this, and why.

You can either always assume the timzone, and do offset calculations based on that, or encode the timezone in ... .
Only concern is timezones, as your tickcount doesn't encode that .
That's fine, in fact that the standard format for encoding dates for JSON .

This code will do it for you:
LblTick.Text = ((char)0x221A).ToString();
This should work as well:
<asp:Label ID="Button1" runat... .
The Extended ASCII code for that symbol is 251.

Do u have hids? sorry let me be more descriptive..the ticking is coming from somewhere in the front, as something is spinning (i would assume), no HIDs, as i go faster so does the noise, if i coast in neutral with the engine off the noise remains....
