350/4spd '82. New plugs, wires, distributor, oil, and timing. Running awesome.
PS belt committed suicide. Replaced belt, developed tick, tick, tick. Awful. Tried with both belt on and off (ruling out defective PS pulley ...my first thread... ...

Did it make the noise prior to the suicide of the PS belt?.. .
They have helped me diagnose a few things on the truck .
Fire up the truck and try to track down the noise .
Get one of the stethoscopes from the parts store like O'Reilly's .

Starting to lose my mind. Whilst my vue is at idle an annoying tick emenates from the front. Does not matter if I am in park, reverse, drive, neutral etc the noise will still show up. It only happens at 600-800 rpm. Once I give it a rev the tick goes ...

I'm currently passing some date-time info to a web page using url parameters, which are ticks of date times, and then converting the ticks back into date times when I need to at the other end.
Is there a better way to do this, and why.

You can either always assume the timzone, and do offset calculations based on that, or encode the timezone in ... .
Only concern is timezones, as your tickcount doesn't encode that .
That's fine, in fact that the standard format for encoding dates for JSON .

Took my beagles out for about 20 min in noble co. OH picked 75 ticks off & they were treated ..found a few dead ones yesterday .some say a mild winter is why there is so meny bugs.just how hard would it have to freeze to kill a tick?

This should work as well:

The Extended ASCII code for that symbol is 251.

Hoping you guys can answer a few questions before I get an electric fence:
Do all electric fences make that tick-tick sound? What causes the sound? Is the dissipation of the high voltage by arcing? Do you get energizer units that don't make that sound...
