Bald street tires vs new tires? Going to the track on sunday and i was just wondering if bald 225's will be stickier than new 215 all season tires? Currently have the bald tires on the pony (look like slicks) but i have new tires as well and was wondering...

No, not those tires.... other tires.... Tires are one of my biggest rc expenses. For street duty I've been running some mid grade items off ebay.
If I end up with the XO, I imagine its going to be hard on tires.... so what do?
I could just keep replacing...

Betting a new set of pre mounts is going to be 100+ I'm waiting to buy these tires for my ERBE but if you can afford the car you should be able to afford the tire .

I don't drive my 996 with summer tires below 40 degrees.
The rubber turns into hockey puck hardness below freezing and you have no traction .
It's just not snow/slush with summer tires.

My current tires are Dunlop Durezzas or something, and they have a recommended PSI rating of 51. IIRC on an older car I had I would use cheap cooper tires, and I think they had something like a 30PSI rating.

If you push 50psi (on rated 50psi tires) they can fail at some point.
Of tires from the factory? It changes when you change the tire or go from a 17" to 18" setup as well in there...
