TiVo has considered S3 platform hardware EOL.
S3 hardware are completely different and TiVo wants to keep things simple.
TiVo wants you to upgrade to the latest hardware.
We can only speculate.

Virgin said some time ago now that they have TiVo buddy, and it all works. The fact that it still isn't available is a farce.

Not be solved am I the only one disappointed with Tivo? I get the feeling many put up with it because its post was at 19:38 My TiVo certainly isn't unresponsive, you should have reported it to faults.

If you set a recording and all available broadcasts clash with other programmes, what does TiVo do? Will it bring up a warning box to let you know, like the V+?

To the screens mentioned above, the only one that is currently on TiVo that would get an update is the 'Season Pass Manager' aka 'Manage My Series Links'.

after reading all of the posts here, most of the problems are the beta application can not get the show list from your one or more tivo device. The problem will be fixed in the later release. now for the beta2 version...

Tivo Transfer won'....
I don't know if it made a difference, but I also restarted the Tivo.
However, instead of deleting only the file in the user Library, I also deleted at the same time .
Selected Tivo.
