If roads would increase speed maybe 1.5 or 2x the rate would improve travel and create pvp situations...
Also tracking skill to be able to recognize past foot or mount travel within set period of time depending on ground type in area would be interesting...

I wouldn't count on any bugs dropping off of you while you walk they are also very (and the travel FAQ...it....
If you read the travel FAQ's it puts forth some procedures that are wise to follow to avoid infesting any bugs with you.

My knee is buggered- those of you who use poles or walking sticks- is there anything to know about different brands or styles? I'd vastly prefer to use only one, to take the weight off of my bung knee, rather than both.

They really helped with descents and sure footedness on rough slippery ground before purchasing, considering not just the ease of use, suitability to your style of walking for travelling.
