I have 5 hours of an audio (MP4) interview. I need to transcribe it as quickly as possible into a Word document. I don't have a foot pedal and can't get one quickly. Got any suggestions on how to speed this up?

In Adium, When I go to the Chat Transcript Viewer window to search for stuff in the chat logs, it not always finds what I want.
Is there an index file that I can delete to have it reindex the logs? Or does it use spotlight in the underpinnings?

From my search there weren't any free speech to text synthesizers .
There are slim to none text to speech that are open source or free to use .
