I think the default setting....
This may be related to write caching.
So, it's copying the file, then deleting the old, then going to the next one .
Please correct if I'm wrong, but I believe this is related to a move in Windows being a Copy-then-Delete method .

My databases where set to use SQLServer....
It was not necessary to change code.
They have slightly different names.
I had to use the SMO-dll of SQL Server 2008 .
This didn't work out of the box.
SMO hasn't really changed between version.

You may have to be careful with things like running workflows - as last I recall these might save stuff like... .
Then use the Deployment Manager tool to import the organization (this will update the MSCRM_CONFIG database, etc.) .
