What could you get away with in the forms....
What other mods are you planning? compression? management? emissions friendly? Bump for advice also if you were just doing exhaust and some intake, maybe larger injecotrs/coil over perhaps.. .
Bump out of interest.
In superb condition. Still shiny. Fits any e34/e32. One of the best sounding exhausts for an e34. No resonators. It retails for 800$+ with resonators new. 300$ plus shipping. Price is firm.

So this is not a cat back system, but rather just from the resonator back? Any full pics of the whole system? Will it fit on a stock resonator without mods? Was it originally for a M60 .

Triflow Only goes on the bolt.
About the pressure tester etc thanks guys Use only Dow55 grease .
Is not as good as the old design. Why must companies take a solid design and modify it and end up with not as good a product? Has play that cannot be tightened up and still work freely and the cursor is a bold line. Returned it and found an old one new...

WD40 is not, it is a mixture of hydrocarbon solvents best for cleaning and water dispersal well this works but I used to use... .
When as is Triflow.
Triflow clear grease on the gears.
Thin oil on the mast, swash and tail slider and bearings .

I pretty much have the same schedule, though mine usually... .
Don't forget some oil on the main shaft and the tail shaft to keep things smooth .
