I received an email from TripAdvisor with the subject "Free gift inside", but when I opened it, there was no mention of a gift, and the email was actually about a list of top travel destinations.

I received a confirmation from TripAdvisor for my review an hour or so ago. I just logged on to try to review it and to view the pics and it says 0 reviews for this restaurant. Why is it not showing up?

Reviews can take anywhere - be on the lookout for an email from TripAdvisor asking you to verify your review.

You want to make this service better? Here's an idea. Try PUBLISHING the reviews that people send! Why am I wasting my time doing reviews, going through all the hoops of clicking confirmation emails that it is my review and then TripAdvisor simply deletes...

TripAdvisor uses an automated filter system to determine if a review to be inspected by a human staff member.
All reviews, however, MUST the review guidelines.
TripAdvisor does not give a fig if a review is good, bad or indifferent.
