This issue has also only occurded since the latest xbox live update
After doing so the xbox live test runs just fine.
Its xbox not your router many times.
Im having the same problem..play 10 to 20 mins then get disconnected.. .

Ethier my xbox just broke or xbox live is currently down because it was just working then I turned it off and turned it back on because it froze and now it wont connect to xbox live but it can connect to my network and internet based off the test.

My xbox gold account is down as well oh well :( xbox live has been a git to me over the past 3 or 4 the xbox itself) LIVE has been really intermittent and sometimes laggy, event though i have made sure and it is fine.
