Rockdanny - Isn't the Ultravalve and all tube amp? Or are you comparing SET, but I would certainly audition the VA hybrids for openers.

I have been reading posts where can use a 12ax7 tube in place of a 6eu7 tube....BUT you have to rewire the tube socket.
So a couple of questions if I may:
1) How will it change the sound if at all?
2) Is it worth doing the mod, to be able to use the MUCH...

Not sure of what amp you are modding, This will be some extensive soldering and the 12ax7 is 12.6 you will....

Go to a video in you tube then right click the video in the you tube video, or if it is banned in some countries, you cant re-download it.
Button right below the video.

I'm going to use red coolant, but I'm not sure if I should get red tubing or clear tubing. I'm trying to get it to look like this:
One picture this looks like red tubing, the other looks like clear tubing..

I think you need to stay away from dyes unless ....
So you think that's clear tubing and red coolant? I can say for sure that that's red fluid in clear tubing, only you can decide what looks best.
And doesn't clog ever.

What tubes do you guys run in your slicks?
are they all the same? or is one company better then another? I also heard you can just run tractor tubes for half the price. thanks

I bought MT slicks, so just went with the MT tubes thing, hooking consistently is too important.

And threaded the end caps to that? No threads in the tube that way..though the filler and valve ports would need to be offset, or the stud made tubular. How much volume would you lose? I understand that in aircraft manufacture, Ti hydraulic tube has fittings...
