Where as STBs use the smallest power supply and usually compared to the internal tuner both....
For example the a large power supply to run all the electronics including the tuner the electronics including the tuner.
Any Set Top Box.

I purchased the HDHomeRun Networked Digital TV Tuner and we'll see how well it works with Windows.
I'd recommend an internal tuner, but if it must be USB the AVerMedia is cheap, small and reliable.
