What is the recommended cluster size for an NTFS volume on a Western Digital Passport USB hard drive for playing AVI, MKV, and VOB files in 1080p resolution using Western Digital's WD TV HD Media Player ?

The primary reason to want....
It probably isn't going to make much difference really, as your bottleneck is going to be elsewhere, but for relatively small numbers of large files as found in a video collection a larger cluster size will be more efficient .

I think there are various models of this box, and mine is the "Live Streaming to be ejected from the WD TV and plugged into my laptop) using Altair, and then rename them as above.
Fine on the WD TV.
The WD TV plus iPlayer combo is flawed .... all programmes are cut off before the stream ends. I know this is the same as Tivo It really needs to be be fixed - by whom, I don't care, just FIX IT!

Virgin Tivo users were having the exact same problem as the WD, I would....
Got the wd tv by a minute, then it's the BBC at fault not WD.
I tried something similar using connectify-me ...
And only available to specific regions.

I do NOT have a WD TV Live.
They give the specifications for all models of their WD TV media players.
Check the WD web site.

Is the wd tv wireless and do you get access to all the online apps like the newer version? Access to online App's yes, but it's not wireless Back up Can I get Sopcast on the WD tv? What can it play & do.

Is there a difference between WD TV Live and WD TV Live Plus? I notice new version of this box is WD TV live....
Netflix website states WD TV Live Hub and WD TV Live Plus supports 5.1 DD+.

On the PC that shows 'no media' have you allowed media sharing? try and buy a NAS hard drive with an ethernet connection this then is wireless and TVs , blu ray players , games consoles will connect to all day long with no PC on just store all your media... .

Can't you get any room remote and have the kitchen TV display whatever is on the main box? I know TV display whatever is on the main box? I know you can do this with Sky...I don't know what you get with internet tv on my streamers....
