I am completing my first database project. I am going to set up mod_wsgi to Apache such that I can run Python webframework on my Uni's servers. I am not sure whether my Uni has those tools or not.

Is there any reason you can't just run this on your own machine? If not, you could .
If this is a uni project, I would really consult with them, not just to determine what you can run on the uni's server.
