I was updating a SBS 2008 server. I got it up to SBS 2008 SP2 and then
another 8 installs and WSUS 3.0 SP2 failed. Seems like I'm not the first.

WSUS2 - uninstall the R2 Technologies, then, reinstall the R2 running WSUS2 on SBS 2k3 R2 (the built in version of
WSUS?) or are you running WSUS3? If you are running WSUS2 then I'd upgrade....

WSUS 3.0 - no
WSUS 3.0 SP1 - no
If this is WSUS 2.0 on SBS2003 I'd uninstall
of R2 technology , WSUS 2.0 cannot be uninstalled separately unless you
