I was asked for the out-of-pocket cost to a doctor's office for an uninsured patient. This could be for a referral or a general second opinion.
Could anyone provide a wild guesstimate of the cost for an advisory visit?

Uninsured ....
Uninsured patients are cash up-front generally, so they charge them 99203, but settle for 99201.
And the specialty.
I have had several experiences for uninsured patient out-of-pocket expenses.

I see, so the uninsured learner with an incompetent co-driver wants some of the hassle to go.
Then sue the uninsured for difference in cost (usually insurer will offer less than it will cost to buy insurance.

Medical bills are highly negotiable, especially for uninsured people.
I would look into gov't assistance (I'm assuming there is a reason he is uninsured).
Necessary for rehab.
