The big thing is engine management, and those kits didn't really come with anything more than a piggy back unit .

As for the control arms I wouldn't worry that much about them as you will have flex from a lot... .
Get diff collars for the rear diff, a lot easier to install and pretty cheap, unless you fall prey to a namebrand a set of non big name ones cost 100 shipped .

AP1 flywheel is a good cheap alternative.
I like it a lot, just a recommendation.
But right now I'm using a Competition Lightweight flywheel.
I have an Ap1 flywheel sitting in my garage, that'll cut a lot of weight .
