If so what is the largest animal you would hunt? hogs? deer?
What set up would you use? 6" Lone Wolf barrel? Corbon or other full power loads?

40 is a weak round.
I've shot a wild hog in the head using hornady critical defense 165gr took 2 shots also takes out coyote and bobcat easy
Hog was 359lbs and very angry 10mm bare minimum .

What is this obsession with having guns function for thousands of rounds between cleanings? I'm obviously talking about the civilian world here, but really, do these people wait for 30,000 miles to change their car's oil, or 2 years to change their home...

It's nice knowing a gun can run a....
Truck is done by the computer's oil life monitor, and the house is done by sight .
Usually, I fire them until they won't function anymore.
The guns in the safe rarely get cleaned.
Always clean.
For carry -- it's clean.
