Have you ever had to temp ban someone before? Do you think it helps or should they be outright banned? What circumstances do you see fit for a temp ban?

I've carried a Zippo for nearly 35 years now.
Used to be you couldn't carry any type of lighter that was under pressure if you flew (passenger or otherwise) .
