I am in the process of making LED brake lights using the existing fog light sockets. I am using the existing plugs, some pvc flex cable cut at just the right angle and some super bright 12 v led pods. Each of the pods have 6 LEDs. Will wire them in tomorrow...

I love the car, but wish I would have gotten one that was all redone already .
I did not make that much torque out of my K27/6 I have the same color and interior .
That is an incredible looking car and an amazing amount of power out of a K26/6 .

One of hte reasons I went with a 951 track car was that if the cost of maintenance was to high, or the engine too problematic, its a good platform for the ls swap. I have no intention of doing that now, and im spending a good but of $$ getting my turbo...

You will probably need a cam at minimum to fix the powerband to breathe higher and pull more power... .
The VVT really helps with power throughout the range.
The LY6 seems to be a good idea if you can handle the more expensive tuning and the drive by wire .
