I was diagnosed Type 2 in July 2007 and am now questioning whether I am, in fact 1.5 (LADA). I just got my C-Peptide back. It is 0.381 with a lab value of 0.90 to 4.00. I realize C-peptide isn't conclusive because Type 2's over time produce less insulin...

Well, I use the Inset 30 as well been pumping a little over a year with maybe 5-6 failures, so 5% seems right .

If you go on the Symlin group board you will hear everything from people who have had both tremendous weight loss success with it and lowered insulin use (and blood sugar spikes; some who had one but not the other... .
I think it's a very individual thing.

Your how people manage that wait for their endo before tweaking numbers! I also think Zoe's advice is around 20.
But just work on learning what you need to do to start getting your numbers down .
