Hi i bought a second hand vintage v100 off ebay as it was very cheap, now i can see why!
one of the tuners are bent and it barely stays in tune , it has a horrible rattle coming from the bridge and worst of all total fret buzz on the whole 12th fret regardless...

CTS pots a v100, a newer burny and ive played a few studios, IMO the burny is up to the standard to the "archetype" etc) compared to the Vintage ....
I swapped out all the electronics to better stuff.
I have a V100 and it plays real nice.

Ah ok I was suspecting that as I have better luck with CCW... .
When turning CCW you have to give it some forward cyclic, to keep it from tail sliding .
I forget what the scientific explanation is, but this is more pronounced in FP helis and more so on some .
