I have only recently been thinking about not doing some of the vaccines. My baby will be having his eighteen month vaccines in a few days. Can someone help me decide what to let them give him and what to avoid? Posted on CafeMom Mobile

If you are hesitant about it, give yourself time to research in the vaccines....
They vaccinate against, what's in the vaccines, how effective the vaccines are, that sort of thing before I would let my child have the vaccines.

I have been hearing about people not fully vaccinating their children (slower vaccine schedule or opting out of certain vaccines). It was even mentioned in a thread today, though I've been meaning to ask for a while. What are the reasons for doing this...

Where do you get your vaccines?. I won't use Fort Dodge anything due to two horses getting sick and hearing numerous other reports of the same thing. I give all my own shots and would ideally like to use recombinant.

I know this subject has been covered time and time again on Skeptoid, but my wife is convince that we are putting our children at less risk by choosing NOT to vaccinate than we would be by choosing to vaccinate. Most of her information has come...

Ok so guess I'm just full of questions. Vaccines - here, I was told they vaccinate for BCG, Polio etc the first 5 days of birth (heck no, I wouldn't let them touch her). I wanted her regular pediatrician to handle this so I delayed it. Now, the pediatrician...

Liam is not getting vaccines.
That's just me though.
The studies linking vaccines to autism were widely discredited in the scientific community.
Worry about it, do what your doctor suggests.

When I was in West Virginia, all shots and vaccines were given once a year. My vet is telling me that here in NC they are given every 6months, twice a year. Being somewhat new to the area, Im just wondering, is this necessary?
Thanks
