Will denial of a J1 Visa cancel a valid B1 Visa?

I have a valid B1 Visa Stamped, I want to apply to get a J1 Visa. If J1 application was denied at the consulate, would that cancel my current valid B1 Vias ? source

An USA Visa is valid only for USA and its territories like Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands. For any other caribbean island you need to check the individual requirements to visit them as a tourist. source

When you recieve your visa , you will be given a date . To activate your visa you must enter australia before this date is up, either by holidaying or moving out there. source

How long is visa valid?

You have to validate the visa by entering Australia within a year of your police checks or medicals. Once that's done, you have 5 years from the date the visa was granted to enter Australia permanently. source

How long is PR visa valid for?
