Bonnet Vents
I asked Mark from Maniac 4x4 to go ahead & make me these for my XJ 8). The only change being that all the vents will face to the rear. Otherwise the hot air from the front vents can go back down through the rear vents, which sort of defeats...

The purpose of having forward facing vents is to force air into the enginebay it hits the rear from the engine then hits the air coming....
The oncoming air would be pushing into the vents so the hot air would have to go down which clearly.

I know the alleged advantages of vents, but to cool they would have to be scoops at the front, and to alleviate over pressure in the wheel ....

Yeh i did that but then i couldnt get the vents and the controls out Well...prepare to get to the vents), but you can't have access to unscrew it because there should be a hole and tried it the other day and couldnt....
That has the vents.

03-31-2011, 05:44 PM One day my air works great - the next, floor vents won't shut off and air won't come through the front vents. Some digging lead me to find the following results:
The arm connecting the actuator to the mode door under the dash is broken...

They stop production? Vents got bought out by Scott, and Scott discontinued them because they claimed are damn near the exact same design they had in service when they discontinued Vents.

Mugen hood vents
Hi, quick question I m interested in buying a carbon fiber mugen hood from a person but my question is does water go to engine bay through the vents...is it bad for the car and where i live at it snows and rains alot

More water splashes up the vents.
Yes water goes through the vents...no it won't hurt your motor.

Ugly furnace installation. Any suggestions?
I had a new furnace and water heater installed. I really don't like the way it looks on the exterior of the house. I'm looking for some suggestions to make it look... nicer?

No plants closer or something.
Furnace vents - Flat Krylon for PVC.
But you don't want to put stuff near them because that will reduce the efficiency .
I see no reason why you can't paint both of those vent things.

I noticed this summer a weird sound started by the passenger wheel well. right where the passengers feet would be, by the fan motor. now that its cold and I require hot air, even with the fan on max level there still doesnt seem to be that much air coming...

I used to have very low air flow like you stated but now it turned into the driver's vents are good but the passengers it onto defrost mode it takes about 10 seconds....
I have no air coming through the passenger vents.
Like I will have to do.
