Can any type of wall hold up a TV and a TV wall mount?
Any kind of wall is fine, as long as it has studs in it. You don't hang the mount directly from the sheetrock - you anchor it in the wooden studs that form the structure of the wall. Invest in a stud finder and read the directions on your wall mount thoroughly - you'll be fine.
