I've always been the kind of girl who puts so much pressure on myself to move with my age - and I've been lucky Alhumdullilah, for the most part.

If you want to strip that behavior, you could remove is essentially an IFRAME, then when you close (or refresh) the main window, the browser knows it is killing all click events....
