As far as amps, I would check the specs of the hardware you plan... .
But you need to be careful how it is billed b/c being charged for TOTAL data transferred is very different from 95th percentile billing .
I think 1Mbps works out to around 2.5Tb per month .

PS - You can also ask them for clarification if you really want to know what they want.
They want to see the code you've produced for yourself, for fun, to exercise your skills a week is enough for me.
