What is your unit's policy on raised BMI and using the pool? Do you have one? Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon.

If everyone else in his practice is OK with the waterbirth maybe you can make it clear to him that unless there are unforeseen.
But if you do I'm not sure if an accidental waterbirth will work.

Obviously I empty them all the....
It's not a quick job and means they're doing that when they should be snuggling up with you if you need it out of the way .
I 100% recommend a liner if your partner is going to be emptying it .
They're quite slow to empty.
