I have a significant amount of Lan Administrators who need access to WCS. I'd like to be able to use ACS for their log in and accounting. However, as simple as it seems on the documenation, I just cannot seem to get it to work.

Take a look at the WCS config guide in how to create the service in TACACS.
When you want to use TACACS for WCS you need to build the service for it as it is not there by default.

I am using WCS 7.0.164.3 on Linux.
For now you need to use 32 bit.
It will be on WCS 7.0, released around 03/10.
Bit support for linux is on the roadmap.

Haven't used WCS, but you could also take a look at EQAlign - does the same kind of thing but is free.

The compatibility matrix shows no support for a Location Appliance 2700 for any version 7.0.x.x for WCS and WLC. However, I did see a thread here where a v6.0.x.0 had compatibility. v6.0.202.0 is MD. Is it compatible with v7 WCS and WLC?

There is a location appliance version 6.0.103.0 that works with 7.0.98.0 - don't know about the latest 7.0.116.0 code, didn't have the chance to try it yet .
