Both are a dollar.
I'm leaning towards Weather+.

Weather Bug is free on iPhone....
I use the built-in Weather app for just simple looking and Weather Bug for more detailed weather.
I got Weather HD for free and didn't like it and I have never heard of Weather +.

It looks like the Google Weather API is not even an officially supported API, but a 'hack.
As far as I know the Google weather API is not an officially supported public Google API indefinite.

It often depends on what information source do you wish to gather weather information from (if you don't want to modify the plugins / widgets yourself).
Rainlendar too.
Samurize has some plugins for weather display.
