My personal opinion: THIS weekend will be the weekend Greece goes toes-up... Since for better or worse, the world markets seemed to be heavily dependent on the US markets.
For that reason (mostly), I really believe that with the US markets being closed...

I don't really see a significance about going out on Friday and Saturday nights opposed to any other night. Since I became old enough to get into bars/clubs, the excitement of the weekend is of no value.

Well I went out on Wednesday and not last night so I slightly agree, but I am more likely to get smashed when I can sleep in until 2 the next day .
