I don't think they do. In fact, I know they must not have done a credit check as my credit is bad. I got offered the job. What position were you applying for?

I got a loan modification through Wells Fargo one year ago. It was interest rate reduction that was only good for 4 years and then it would begin to go up again. Although it was not a fun year of me sending info and complying with every thing they asked...
