Because it is light weight it will have a bit more felt recoil than an all steel j-frame .
It is an easy to carry firearm that will serve you well as a daily carry piece .

The Judge has been around longer, Taurus invented this "genre" if you will.... .
Id have to say the governer because it holds one more bullet than the judge, i never understood what was so hard to add one more round to the judge to make it a real revolver .

My own order of preference:
1) S&W Model 27
2) Dan Wesson Model 15
3) Ruger GP-100 Rugers are decent guns, but in my opinion ....
