I want to install Visual Studio 2010 in parallel with 2008 version on Win7. Can this cause some problems?

I have both....
I'm running Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1 side by side in Windows 7 (RTM) and I have yet to experience any issues .
We have a few machine running both VS05 and VS08 (on vista) so I suppose this combo won't harm either.. .
What is the process of converting win32 application (a small popup window actually) to win7 gadget? Do I need to convert my exe to activex component, can I still use TForm ? it would be nice to have support for both Win7 + Vista.

The user interface is composed of pages containing regular HTML, CSS ,images and potentially ActiveX controls .
The Windows Vista/7 gadgets are essentially mini-HTML applications.

I just did it last night! Pretty neat....
When you have linux installed and you want to install Windows 7, it's really really easy .
It could be a little harder to install linux whena Windows OS is already installed .
Personnally, I would install Ubuntu first.

Have access to a good number of options for tweaking Win7 appearance and behaviour.
Adobe seems to create tons of application icons in my start -> all programs menu. I want to drop them all in their own folder, how can I do this in win7?

Edit: So, I'm guessing....
Right click on All Programs Select Open Double-Click Programs Click New Folder in Toolstrip Name the folder Press Enter Move shortcuts Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and create the desired folders .

As the question says how would i start a application as admin when using Win7's search box. This must be done using the keyboard only , i tried Shift + Enter and ctrl + Enter , both dont seem to have any effect.

It's also been extremely stable across....
Since the new kernel improvements the overall performance on lower end machines has improved massively .
I have tested Windows 7 RC on quite a few machine with 1GB or less memory and the performance was impressive .
After I installed Win7 RC (Eval copy 7100) from the MS site the SD slot has died. Trouble shoot found an answer but kept whatever it was "hidden". Trying to upload photos from my camera phone.

If you do not see the drive letter, go to device manager and check... .
Is the device not working as in you see the drive letter and whatever you insert it cannot read? If so, try a linux live cd, if you are having the same issue, it probably means it is dead .
