Tough one, Liverpool wont win the league again for 20 years, that I guarantee you, but United how long that will last.

In cricket what is the correlation between winning the toss and winning the match..? Is there research that shows that the team that wins the toss has a significantly higher likelihood of going on to win the match...?

That is a little favour.
Nevertheless, you gotta win the match by playing well.
You would need to win the toss to do that If both captains have difference it is good to lose a toss.
There for a couple of days.

Since you should theoretically win 13 times out of the 238 pick then your odds must.
Will win 13 times for every 225 times you lose or will lose 225 times for every 13 times you win is picked.

I'm running a contest on a website and I have 3215 entrants who are eligible for 5x Sony PSPs.
I believe the formula to count the odds is totalEntrants - prizes / prizes:
(3215-5)/5 = 642 so that's an odds of 642 to 1 of winning - is that right? ( I suck...

Winning odds are totalEntrants / prizes
There is no need to reduce the number of prizes chance to win (if we'd reduce....
Five people can win, there are 3215 entrants, so the odds of winning are 3215 ÷ 5 times.
That's right.

Do you consider .500 to be a winning or a losing record? Let's say a team has five winning seasons, a .500 season, and then three more winning seasons. Would you consider this a nine-year winning streak, or two separate streaks?

.500 winning percentage just mean that they have equal chance....
Than loses as a whole to treat the season a winning season or there is no point to have a match that is draw between two players or teams, they can just call them both winners.

If you're really confident, choose a limit of 12 - that will win they're being conservative or risk averse....
The one with an asterisk is the "winningest" choice:
12 provided their limit is above 17 .
Are the limits you can choose and win with.
