I have a laptop (xp domain login) I would like to use a printer (in a workgroup ). I would like to avoid getting shot by my IT department( don't want to change domain to workgroup). Thanks in advance

Could try doing a batch file with something like runas /user:workgroup\username "net use lpt1.
The workgroup here has two words, rather than the single word like MSHOME . Is there a problem with it having an embedded space?

You can have Workgroup names with spaces, the only caveat is that machines older than Windows 2000, when it comes to using the workgroup name from the command line, you will need to enclose it in quotes that there are no spaces.

You can run TFS Workgroup for up to 5.
It's not great having to maintain 2 TFS installations it, each MSDN subscription comes with a single TFS CAL .

Nothing more needs doing workgroup as the client (like browsing for shares), will be not work correctly for the second workgroup.

Resource access is controlled by each individual workgroup PC, so you'll need either completely open shares, the knowledge of a security principle on the remote....
