I am trying to create an array or list that could handle in theory, given adequate hardware and such, as many as 100^100 BigInteger entries. The problem with using an array or standard list is that they can only hold Integer.MAX_VALUE number of entries...

A 22-dimensional java array would have enough space to hold-dimensional arrays aswell.
Methods, but this shouldn't be too taxing.

USB is keyed so that it can only be plugged into a port a certain way, to ensure that the contacts touch. But what if you either forced it to plug in improperly, or the port itself was worn down and the plug was worn down and you could plug it in backwards...

True, but there is nothing stopping you from putting it in your app/models directory .
It'll be auto-loaded by rails and will be available for use .
You can simply place this in a file called spreedly.rb in the lib/ directory .

I have a list of nullable integer and it look like a 1 to many relation
id1 can have an id2 and id3 id2 can have id4
if the value of id1 change, id2 and id3 must be set to null and it mean id4 must be set to null
In that example, I only use 4 variables...
