Ativan addictive than almost any medication you can take.
It's used primarily for panic attacks.
Xanax has the shortest half life of all the benzos.

How long does xanax stay in your system, and is it detectable on urine tests? what about saliva tests?

Went for follow up w/ my doc. last week and I tried to tell her that Ativan doesn't work for me like Xanax does. She insists that Ativan is better that Xanax because it lasts longer. I got frustrated because I know my own body, and what works for me. ...

My doses are....
Xanax is fast working where the next a dependency problem.
I can use ativan at night to sleep and the next day it is still working .
But lasts much longer where Xanax is a fast acting anti anx and can become really addicting.

3mg Xanax time release. Neato. Anyone else ever seen or fucked with these? Coolest looking benzo press ever IMO. I didn't even know these existed. They crumble just like IR Xanax so im not sure how the ER is supposed to function. Here's a pic.

Hi,
Found the website after looking into how to properly withdraw from benzos. Have been using benzos for a couple years at night for insomnia. Was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea so now that i have that under control, i'm trying to quit the benzos...

I too used xanax for night time dosing and am tapering the diazepam way.
Sorry you tapered too quick off the Xanax and got the w/d but up till now he has not raise any objections.
You got the sleep apnea problem resolved.

Hi there! I'm sorry your post was "lost"...
My advice would be to completely detox from the Vicodin and when you're feeling fairly good, focus on the Xanax.
Xanax must be tapered down in small amounts over a long period of time. I can't be any more specific...

I lowered my xanax down a bit too last night.
My worst symptoms are the anxiety in afternoon until the xanax kicks in at bed time.
And that wasn't too bad in all honesty.
