Does anyone have any?? Sommerkamp = German brand name for Yaesu
There are Sommerkamp branded versions of some.
Superior radio, IMO.

The best dual-band I have ever....
I had a Yaesu FT2500M in my rock crawler that had been in it for 6 years.
But as always, YMMV.
You mentioned that if you were "working out in adverse and snow .

I carry a small Yaesu FT-60r on the subway everyday into Manhattan and so I like a compact antenna. I picked up a Diamond SRH805S on ebay for a few bucks. It says 144/430 with wide band receive. I put it on the radio and can hit a repeater in Manhattan...

Here's a thought:
I have a Zetron model 30 worldpatch and a Yaesu FT-8800.
I was wondering if I could connect the Zetron to the Yaesu using the packet connections from the DIN connector on the back.
Has audio in both directions with respective grounds...
