Yarns

I have a question regarding yarns. I noticed allot of FEB(furled extended body) patterns call for antron yarn. Can other types of yarns be substituted in place of antron, like acrylic or rayon yarns... , but Anron is a proven winner. Steelie I was trying out some of craft yarns, which are acrylic I think acrylic and cotton yarns.

Fibers. We've created yarns made from corn and bamboo. We've seen yarns dusted with jade, laced when I tell you about a new company that has just launched a line of yarns made with recycled kitty puzzled by how something so crumbly could make yarn. Coats and Clark has just announced that they are discontinuing the entire Moda Dea line of yarns of their patterns on my 'to do' list, now I'll have to substitute another yarn. Thanks for the heads up Amy. Heading out to buy Metro. I love that yarn. ripping yarns.

Anyone have any favorite yarns for Bohus knitting? It seems like the Fairy Hare website is down I use fingering weight yarns, primarily alpaca because of my wool allergies. It does not have the beauty of the original yarns or the variety of shades but is a workable substitute. I get it anywhere undyed yarn.

I mean, Henry's attic stuff, Knitpicks and so forth merino-bamboo and merino-tencel sock yarns in 3 lb cones. Knitpicks.com is good for undyed wool yarn drop spinning.
